20/21 Ghana Premier League matchday 13: Berekum Chelsea hold Sharks to a 1-1 draw in Elmina

Berekum Chelsea has earned a point in their match against Elmina Sharks after fighting back to draw 1-1 against the side on Monday evening.

The struggling team today visited the Paa Kwasi Nduom Stadium to take on the Elmina-based club on matchday 13 of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Determined to give it their all to pick maximum points, Berekum Chelsea, unfortunately, had a slow start with the home team dominating the play.

After 28 minutes of action, Elmina Sharks scored through in-form James Bissue to take the lead after the attacker display good movement in the half of the opponent.

Pegged behind, Berekum Chelsea regrouped to mount successive attacks of their own. Making strides three minutes later, the visitors drew level through Stephen Sarfo.

Despite creating lots of chances in the second half, neither side could get on the scoresheet and have been forced to settle for a draw at the end of the 90 minutes.
