In a thrilling Ligue 1 match on Saturday evening, Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew played a pivotal role as Le Havre secured a hard-fought 3-3 draw against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

The 34-year-old Ghana skipper scored a brilliant goal in the entertaining encounter at the Parc des Princes.

Before the game, the head-to-head record heavily favored PSG with three wins, while Le Havre had yet to register a victory or a draw. Ayew started the game and lasted 71 minutes, while American-born Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Sabbi also featured in Le Havre's starting lineup.

The match began with Le Havre taking the lead in the 19th minute, thanks to a well-worked team goal finished by Christopher Operi. However, PSG equalized in the 28th minute through Bradley Barcola. Ayew then put Le Havre back in front in the 38th minute with a powerful left-footed strike after a clever backheel assist from Loic Nego.

Le Havre extended their lead to 3-1 in the 61st minute when Abdoulaye Toure converted a penalty, sending Keylor Navas the wrong way. However, PSG fought back with Achraf Hakimi pulling one back in the 78th minute, and Goncalo Ramos scoring a sensational header in the 95th minute to secure a dramatic 3-3 draw.

Andre Ayew has been a consistent performer for Le Havre this season, scoring three goals in 15 league appearances.
