20/21 Ghana Premier League matchday 20: Medeama v Legon Cities preview

Medeama SC will hope to pick a win against Legon Cities FC on Sunday afternoon to maintain momentum when they host the side in the Ghana Premier League.

The Tarkwa-based club in their last outing thumped Dreams FC 2-0 courtesy of a brace from Ivorian import Amed Toure.

With the win pushing the team to climb into the top four, they have been motivated to chase more wins in the upcoming weeks to have any chance of challenging for the Premier League title at the end of the season.

For Medeama SC’s opponent this week, Legon Cities FC produced a shock last weekend when they posted a 2-0 win over rivals Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Today, they are faced with a tough challenge when they make the trip to the Akoon Park.

Ahead of the game, both teams have been tipped to put on a good challenge with the game expected to produce more than two goals.

Amed Toure – The Medeama SC striker has been a hit since the second round of the Ghana Premier League season commenced. In his last appearance, he found the back of the net twice and will be key when they face Legon Cities FC today.
