Dreams FC on Sunday afternoon held Legon Cities FC to a 1-1 draw at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League.

The team from Dawu traveled from Dawu this weekend to the capital to take on the Royals today in a matchday 21 fixture of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

Following a bright start to the match by Legon Cities FC, the home team dominated play and made sure they had the lead at the end of the first half.

Experienced striker and former Ghana Premier League goal king Hans Kwofie capitalized on a fine opportunity and made sure he scored to put the Royals ahead.

Unable to protect the lead in the first half, Dreams FC gradually crawled their way into the match.

After making strides, the away team equalized in the 58th minute courtesy of a strike from Abdul Jalilu.

With no additional goals in the remainder of the match, Legon Cities FC and Dreams FC have settled for a point apiece at the end of the game.
