20/21 Ghana Premier League matchday 25: Karela United move to second after 2-0 win against Wonders

Karela United have climbed to second on the Ghana Premier League table following the team’s 2-0 win over Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday afternoon.

The Anyinase-based club in the last few weeks have gradually improved on the back of the slow start to the second round of the 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.

Today, the team hosted Techiman Eleven Wonders at the CAM Park to fight for points on matchday 25 of the league season.

Dominating play on the matchday, Karela United scored through poster boy Diawisie Taylor in the 40th minute to go into the break with a deserved lead.

Just three minutes into the second half, Bismark Oppong also found the back of the net to push Karela United to cruise to an important 2-0 win.

As a result of the win today, Karela United move to second on the Ghana Premier League table with 41 points.
