Dreams FC has today posted an emphatic 4-1 win over King Faisal at the Dawu Park in the opening weekend of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.

The two clubs set up from the blast of the first half determined to avoid defeat at all costs. The early minutes saw both sides canceling out each other’s threat though Dreams FC emerged as the better side.

Having squandered a number of opportunities, the home team finally took the lead on the 44th minute courtesy a strike from Emmanuel Ocran as the Dawu Park erupted.

That goal separated the two sides at the end of the 45 minutes with the home fans very pleased with the display of their team.

In the second half, Dreams FC maintained their tempo from the first half and controlled the game with style. A good team play saw the side doubling their lead on the 53rd minute.

Emmanuel Ocran who scored the first goal for the home team fired in a good goal to complete his brace. Two minutes after that equalizer, Ibrahim also added a third to hand Dreams FC a big gap against King Faisal.

Despite fighting on to get back into the match, King Faisal could not get on the scoresheet.

Later in the half, King Faisal managed to pull one goal back but it was not enough as Dreams FC added a fourth to force their guests to succumb to a 4-1 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
