2019 AFCON Qualifier: Black Stars to begin training in Kenya today

The Black Stars will begin training in Nairobi, Kenya today ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Ethiopia on Sunday.

Coach Kwasi Appiah and the team could not start their training as originally scheduled for Tuesday with just ten players reporting to camp.

The Ghana was expected to start serious training on Tuesday night but with just half of the squad invited turning up by Tuesday, coach Kwesi Appiah could not have his full training session.

Chaotic travel arrangements mean players who has finished playing their league matches on Saturday - three days before the camp was supposed to have started- had not arrived.

This means the team will have to wait until Wednesday evening when majority of the players ahea expected to have joined the camp in Nairobi ahead of the qualifier against the Walias of Ethiopia.
