Kotoko will host Sudanese giants Al Hilal in the CAF Champions League qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium today.

An according to reports filed by Kumasi-based media outlet Oyerepa FM, Kwesi Appiah who had stints in Sudan Coach will be in the stands to offer technical support to Asante Kotoko.

Asante Kotoko, two-time African champions are currently without a substantive manager following the club’s decision to part ways with Maxwell Konadu.

In the interim, assistant coach Johnson Smith has been given the mantle to lead the charge for the Porcupine Warriors.

The Porcupine Warriors who managed a draw in the first leg against FC Nouadhibou and had a walkover on the return leg, picked a narrow win over Dreams FC last Sunday and will hope the change of coaches and the able-assistance of club legend Kwesi Appiah will prove the perfect catalyst to get a positive result in their game against Al Hilal.
