2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Dreams FC coach Vladislav Viric lauds teamwork in win over Hearts of Oak

Dreams FC head coach, Vladislav Viric has heaped praise on his side's teamwork as they defeated Hearts of Oak 2-0 on match week 22 in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Ali Huzaif and Sylvester Simba scored both goals to give the 'Still Believe Lads' all three points at the theatre of Dreams, Dawu.

The win takes the club to 5th in the league table, level on points with Hearts of Oak.

"We got the result today because we played as a team. We knew before the game that we would struggle at certain moments since we were facing a very good Hearts of Oak side with good players," Viric said as reported by Citisports.

"However, I also urged my players to also push the opposition, stay focused and take whatever chance that would come their way. I believed that whichever got the first goal would win the tie and that is what happened."

"As a coach, if your team keeps a clean sheet against Hearts of Oak, you should be very happy. Of course, Hearts had some chances but we were focused and we did well against their attackers."

"We also got some divine help on the day."

Dreams FC will take on Asante Kotoko in Obuasi in match week 23 of the on-going 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
