Bechem United on Sunday afternoon put up a fine display as the team defeated Real Tamale United 2-0 in the Ghana Premier League.
Nicknamed the Hunters, the team today hosted the league’s newcomers in a matchday 12 encounter of the 2021/22 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Putting up a strong performance in the first half, an Augustine Okrah strike meant that Bechem United had the lead at halftime.
With momentum on the side of the home team, they pushed and managed to seal the win with a fantastic strike from Emmanuel Annor in the 64th minute.
On the matchday, Real Tamale United put up a resilient display in the second half but their efforts could not result in a goal.
Bechem United’s win today has seen the side keep their place in the top four of the Ghana Premier League.
The team still has a chance of challenging for the league title at the end of the season.
