Pressure continues to mount on coach Samuel Boadu in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League. Accra Hearts of Oak traveled to Tamale to face Real Tamale United and the encounter ended 0-0.

The defending champions made some changes to their squad with new signing Sulley Muntari making his first start for the club.

Experienced midfielder Muntari played a corner kick early on, but the RTU goalkeeper saw the flight of the ball and grabbed it.

Hearts of Oak launched another attack, with Fatawu Mohammed whipping in a cross from the right, but Yaw Osei easily saved it, but the keeper collided with Isaac Mensah. Both players needed attention from their medical team.

RTU was granted a free kick, but Mustapha Fuseini's effort was deflected wide for a goal kick.

A few seconds later, the host proceeded after playmaker Ronald Frimpong cut in wonderfully from the left but fired wide.

The Northern giants were on the verge of scoring through Mustapha Fuseini, but Caleb Amankwah saved his team with a quick headed clearance.

Both teams did everything to get the three points at stake in the second half but most of the shots went wide off target.

The referee ended the battle with a 0-0 scoreline.
