2021 Afcon qualifiers: Ashanti Gold skipper Shafiu Mumuni handed maiden Black Stars call-up

Black Star B and Ashanti Gold skipper Shafiu Mumuni has been handed his maiden Black Stars call-up for 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Mumuni scored four goals in four games for the Miners in the CAF Confederation Cup campaign and he also emerged the top scorer at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations where he bagged four goals in four games with a hat-trick against Ivory Coast.

Ghana will host South Africa at the Cape Coast stadium on Thursday November 14 2019 before travelling to Sao Tomé to play them on November 18.
