Asante Kotoko defender Christopher Nettey is expected to make his debut for the Black Stars when they take on Sudan on Thursday in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Coach CK Akonnor's side will welcome their opponents at the Cape Coast Sports stadium with kick-off slated for 16:00GMT.

Five days after the game, the Black Stars will travel to Ondurman, Sudan for the second leg of the fixture.

Nettey earned a late-up call to the Black Stars to replace experienced defender Harrison Afful, who has been ruled out of the game.

The 22-year-old is expected to get the nod to start in coach CK Akonnor’s lineup.

Ghana have a 100% record in the qualifiers so far after winning their first two matches against South Africa and Sao Tome Principe.
