2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers: Black Stars to hold 2nd day training today ahead of Sudan clash

The Black Stars of Ghana will hold their second training session on Tuesday ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan on Thursday

The four-time African champions are preparing for the showdown against the Falcons of Jediane at the Cape Coast stadium.

Coach Charles "CK" Akonnor supervised the first training session on Monday and will continue today at the La McDan Park on Tuesday.

10 players started the training session on Monday afternoon.

The likes of John Boye, Caleb Ekuban, Baba Rahman, Alexander Djiku, Christopher Nettey and Lawrence Ati-Zigi have all joined the Black Stars camp.

The Black Stars, who sit top of Group C, will host Sudan in Ghana for the first leg before the second leg is played five days later in Omdurman.

Meanwhile, players of the Black Stars will undergo the mandatory COVID-19 test on Tuesday ahead of the game on Thursday.

The technical team and management of the senior national team will all be tested as part of protocols to be observed before the matchday three encounter.
