Berekum Chelsea head coach Abdul-Hanan Abu says playing a top side like Ashanti Gold SC was definitely going to be tough as they lost on Sunday in the Premier League.
The Blues lost 2-1 to the Miners at the Len Clay stadium on match day seven.
Augustine Henneh gave the Blues an early lead in the 9th minute before Appiah McCarthy equalised in the 22nd with a sublime free-kick.
Hans Kwofie scored the match-winner in the 85th minute to complete the comeback for Cirkovic's side.
"It was a great game as you all saw it. Playing a top side like Ashanti Gold with a very experienced coach was definitely going to be tough for us," Abu told reporters.
"We had an early goal and we needed to have protected it but unfortunately we could not."
Berekum Chelsea are currently 15th on the league log.
Chelsea will face Inter Allies on match day eight at the Berekum Golden City park.
