2022/23 Ghana Premier League: It's unfortunate Hearts of Oak couldn't win against Dreams FC - David Ocloo

Published on: 02 April 2023

Hearts of Oak Assistant Coach, David Ocloo, believes his team could have secured all three points in their match against Dreams FC, which ended in a goalless draw on Saturday in Dawu.

Despite creating several decent chances, the 'Phobians' failed to find the back of the net, resulting in a disappointing outcome for the team in their match-week 25 encounter at the Theater of Dreams Park.

The opportunity to level up on points with league leaders Aduana FC, who were set to play their fixture on Sunday, was missed by Hearts of Oak. However, Ocloo remains optimistic about his team's chances in the league this year.

"We ended the game very well. In the latter part, you could see my boys were giving their all and were very determined to win it, but it is unfortunate we couldn't get the needed goal. I still have the belief we can win the GPL," said Ocloo.

Hearts of Oak is currently fourth on the league table with 39 points, just two points behind leaders Aduana FC, who have played a game less.
