Karela United youngster Stephen Akani has issued a warning to Hearts of Oak ahead of their highly-anticipated clash in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League match week 23.
The young star is confident that his team will emerge victorious and secure all three points at stake.
In an interview with Domesticsportsgh.com, Akani stated that his team is very confident ahead of the match and that they are determined to win it to boost their confidence for the remaining fixtures.
He also emphasized the importance of their supporters, urging them to push the team towards victory.
“We are very confident that we will take all three points at stake because here is Aiyinase, things are hard so we can’t lose this game, we need to win this game to give us confidence ahead of the remaining fixtures.
“We need our supporters to push us victory on Saturday,” he added.
Karela United currently occupy the 14th position on the league table with 26 points, while Hearts of Oak sit in fourth place with 38 points. The upcoming match is expected to be fiercely contested as both teams have a lot at stake.
The Passioners will host the Phobians on Saturday at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, and the game is expected to attract a huge turnout of fans.
