Great Olympics on Monday, October 31, fought to hold Samartex FC to a goalless draw in the Ghana Premier League.
The capital-based club won two games and drew one other in the first three matches of the new Ghanaian top-flight league campaign before the season was suspended due to the court injunction filed against the Ghana FA by Ashanti Gold.
Following the court's dismissal of the injunction, the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season has resumed.
Today, Great Olympics played as a guest to Samartex FC in a matchday four encounter of the campaign.
In a tough contest that ensued between the two clubs, both teams played well throughout the 90 minutes but unfortunately could not get on the score sheet.
After a 1-1 draw, Great Olympics are returning to Accra with a crucial point that leaves the team 4th on the Ghana Premier League table.
Meanwhile, Samartex FC are now 12th on the standings of the league.
