Real Tamale United (RTU) will host Accra Lions at Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Thursday in week 12 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League. The game will kick start at 3:00 PM.
RTU held Karela United last week to a goalless at Anyinase while Accra Lions are coming into the game on the back of an impressive 3-1 over Legon Cities in week 11.
The hosts, RTU, will be without influential captain David Abagna Sandan, who is part of the Black Galaxies squad preparing for the 2022 CHAN in Algeria. The same for the Royals, who will miss the services of Kofi Kordzi.
The capital-based side sits fourth on the Ghana Premier League table while RTU occupy the tenth spot ahead of their meeting this midweek.
The ‘Pride of the North’ have incurred two defeats in their last six league games, winning three, and drawing one.
On the other hand, Lions have picked two wins, a draw, and three defeats in their last six league games.
RTU have won their last three home games while Accra Lions lost their previous two away games to Medeama and King Faisal.
King Faisal will be looking to strengthen their position as they continue to climb up while Accra Lions will want to firm their grip on the fourth place.
