FC Samartex's matchday 15 encounter with Tamale City at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi on Wednesday afternoon ended goalless.
Both teams were determined to grab all three points at stake to boost their survival in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
In the opening minutes, the home side with their fans supporting them passed the ball around very well to try and draw out Tamale City.
Tamale City on the other hand did not allow the Timber boys any chance to get a shot on goal.
After half time both teams continued their plan from the first half and made some changes to their starting XI. Attackers on both teams could find the back of the net.
The added time expired the referee ended the game with the score goalless.
FC Samartex is 11th on the Ghana Premier League table with 20 points and Tamale City is 17th with 12 points.
The Timber Giants will play Medeama in their next game while Tamale City will take on Kotoku Royals.
