Accra Lions put up a spirited performance on Monday afternoon to come from behind to draw 2-2 against Bibiani Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
The two clubs today locked horns in a Week 17 encounter of the Ghanaian top-flight league.
After a goalless draw from the first half, Bibiani Gold Stars took the lead in the first minute of the second half when striker Abednego Tetteh equalised with a well-taken finish.
Unfortunately, for the visitors, the team could not hold onto the lead.
A good fight from Accra Lions saw the team restoring parity in the 59th minute through a strike from Abass Salifu Samari.
Ten minutes later, the player was presented with another chance and made no mistake. He scored his second of the afternoon to give Accra Lions a 2-1 lead.
Later in the 79th minute, Abednego Tetteh also found the back of the net for the second time to complete a sensational brace.
