King Faisal suffered defeat in their first home game at the Dr Kwame Kyei Complex on Sunday afternoon.
Today, the Issah Allah boys played Berekum Chelsea in matchday 18 of the Ghana Premier League and succumbed to a 1-0 defeat.
In-form striker Mezack Afriyie’s strike in the first half gave the visitors an all important victory at away.
The visitors opened the scoring after just 7 minutes into the much-anticipated encounter through Mezack Afriyie. It was his 10th goal of the season for Berekum Chelsea.
Prior to the game, Chelsea had suffered a 3-1 defeat on home turf to Hearts of Oak and were poised to bounce back to winning ways.
The second half failed to produce a goal, despite both teams creating numerous scoring opportunities.
Berekum Chelsea moves to the 10th position with 25 points whiles King Faisal still find themselves in the relegation zone.
Jimmy Cobblah’s outfit are 16th on the league table with 20 points after 18 matches into the campaign.
