2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 21: Karela United v Nsoatreman FC preview

Published on: 10 March 2023

The 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season will continue this weekend with as many as 8 matches scheduled to be played.

All but one game will not come off after the contest between Asante Kotoko and King Faisal was postponed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) last week.

Among the games that will be played this weekend, Karela United will host Nsoatreman FC in a Week 21 showdown.

Form Guide:

The home team, Karela United have been disappointing all season. The team’s inconsistency and inability to compete have left the side in the relegation zone.

The team has just 23 points after playing 20 games in the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.

In the last five matches, the club based in Anyinase has suffered three defeats, won one game, and drawn the other.

It is fair to say the team has been one of the worst sides in the Ghana Premier League this season.

This weekend, Karela United comes up against Nsoatreman FC, a side that is 10th on the Ghana Premier League table.

Despite losing two league games in the last five outings, the team has managed to also win two and draw the other one.

Predicted scoreline:

This should be a very interesting game with a lot of action. Nsoatreman FC appears to be the better side but will have a tough test in the attempt to see off Karela United.

The experience of the hosts could come in handy and with home advantage also available, the three points could easily stay in Anyinase to propel Karela United out of the relegation zone.
