The struggles of Accra Great Olympics continued on Sunday afternoon when the team suffered a 2-0 defeat to Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
The team from the capital today played as a guest to the Yellow and Mauve outfit in a Week 22 encounter of the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
Following a good display from Medeama SC in the first half, the team led at the break thanks to a strike from Joshua Agyemang in the 45th minute.
In the second half, the hosts continued to dominate the possession and doubled their lead in the 65th minute when Jonathan Sowah also got his name on the scoresheet.
Although Great Olympics would come in strong after conceding the second goal, the team could not even net a consolation and lost 2-0 to Medeama SC at the end of the 90 minutes.
The defeat today means that Great Olympics have lost three games in the last five matches in the Ghana Premier League with one win and one draw in the other two games.
