A late strike from in-form Francis Andy Kumi on Sunday afternoon has earned a draw for Kotoku Royals in the contest against Medeama SC.
The Akyem- based club today hosted the Yellow and Mauve outfit in a Week 25 encounter of the ongoing 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
In a game played at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, Medeama SC had a bright start to the contest and took control of the game.
After several attempts of asking, the away team took the lead in the 21st minute thanks to a strike from Jonathan Sowah.
That goal handed Medeama SC the lead to take into the first-half break.
After recess, Kotoku Royals improved their game in a bid to get back into the game. Thankfully, the efforts of the side paid off in added time when top striker Francis Andy Kumi equalised with a fine effort.
The game eventually ended 1-1 with both teams going home with a point.
