2022/23 Ghana Premier League Week 28: Match Report – Medeama SC 3-2 Dreams FC

Medeama SC narrowly beat Dreams FC 3-2 in an entertaining encounter on Wednesday afternoon. 

Medeama controlled the game in the early minutes and was rewarded for their efforts in the 6th minute.

Jonathan Sowah netted the first goal for the home side to send the Yellow and Mauve supporters into jubilation.

Dreams FC regrouped and tried to get into the box of Medeama. They grabbed the equalizer in the 19th minute through Dede Ishmael.

After the break Medeama repeated their game exhibited in the early stages of the first half. Jonathan Sowah scored Medeama's second goal and his second in the encounter in the 53rd minute.

Dreams made some changes as they chased the game. Godfred Atuahene and Victor Oduro replaced Gael Aholou and Sylvester Simba.

Huzaf Ali equalized for Dreams FC in the 86th minute. With the game heading for a draw Hamidu Abdul Fatawu scored the 3rd goal for Medeama in added time.

Medeama is second on the league table with 47 points and Dreams FC is 14th with 34 points.

Medeama will clash with Nsoatreman in their next game while Dreams FC will play Legon Cities.
