2022/23 Ghana Premier League week 30: Aduana falter again against Karela United - Report

Published on: 08 May 2023

Aduana FC have now drawn back-to-back games in the Ghana Premier League, cutting their lead at the top of the table to only two points.

The Fire Boys were held to a goalless draw by Karela United at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Monday afternoon in match week 30 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.

This follows an earlier draw last Monday against now-relegated Kotoku Royals in match week 29, with Medeama SC winning against Bechem United and closing the gap at the top to two points.

Paa Kwesi Fabin's men needed to get back to winning ways after the draw but have not been able to pull it off.

A silent game saw the first half end goalless, with more of the same in the second half, also seeing the game end the same way at full time.

Aduana now have 52 points in first while Medeama have 50 points.

Aduana FC will be fighting to get back to winning ways when they take on Accra Lions away on May 21 while Karela United play as hosts to Great Olympics the same day.
