King Faisal finished the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season with win against Real Tamale United on Sunday.
The In Sha Allah lads scored in the second half to claim a 1-0 win at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, going down to the National Division One League with 42 points and finishing 18th.
The hosts, who had already secured their status ahead of this game, end the season on the 11th position with 46 points.
Real Tamale United came into the game without training for more than three days because of salaries owed players, seeing them boycott the sessions.
The first half of the game ended goalless but it did not take the visitors long in the second period to find the opener.
Godfred Asiamah scored in the 59th minute to secure all three points for King Faisal.
It ends their four years status in the Ghana Premier League after coming in through a court case in 2019
