2022/23 GPL: I’m leaving Dreams FC due to inconsistency - Ignatius Osei-Fosu

Ignatius Osei-Fosu has disclosed that he will be leaving his post as head coach of Dreams FC ahead of the resumption of the Ghana Premier League.

Osei-Fosu joined the Still Believe lads at the end of the 2021/22 season and guided them to escape relegation.

Dreams FC have made a poor start to the season as they lie 16th on the league table with eight points after eight matches played so far.

“I’m leaving Dreams FC due to inconsistency because I left the team to the World Cup, and I will be going to Europe in January to learn more about coaching so I will not be consistent for the club,” he told Kickoffghana.com.

“We both agreed on it and decided that Zito continue his good job with the club as he was doing when he took over during the World Cup campaign.”

Abdul Karim Zito is expected to take over from Ignatius Osei-Fosu, who was one of four local coaches the Ghana Football Association (GFA) took to 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar as part of the technical team for the Black Stars.
