Ghana head coach CK Akonnor will be seeking easy qualification with his team when they resume the qualifiers to the 2022 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament next month.

Pitted in Group c, the Black Stars are fighting for progression to the final stage of the qualifiers alongside South Africa, Sudan, as well as São Tomé and Principe.

Before taking over as Ghana head coach in January early this years, CK Akonnor served as an assistant to Coach James Kwesi Appiah where the team won its first two matches in the qualifiers in games against South Africa and São Tomé.

With 6 points in the bag, Coach Akonnor is keen on amassing maximum points in the Upcoming Sudan doubleheader to ensure he seals an easy qualification to the AFCON with his team.

Meanwhile, the tactician is scheduled to name his squad for next month’s qualifiers later today.
