2022 AFCON qualifiers: Foreign players to dominate coach CK Akonnor’s squad

With Ghana head coach CK Akonnor set to name his squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month today, sources have confirmed that the list will be dominated by foreign players.

During the last international break, the former Hearts of Oak tactician paraded a team that had all 23 players invited from foreign clubs.

In friendly games against Mali and Qatar, Ghana lost to the Eagles in the first match before recording a heavy win against the Asian Champions.
