2022 Black Stars World Cup: Hearts of Oak's Dennis Korsah named in provisional squad

Hearts of Oak's defender Dennis Korsah has been included in Ghana's 55 man provisional squad for the 2022 World Cup.

Black Stars coach Otto Addo officially announced the provisional squad and he is expected to trim the 55 man squad to 26 before the team flies to Doha, Qatar.

The Black Stars of Ghana will play their final international friendly game against Switzerland on November 17th in the UAE. Ghana will play its first game at the 2022 World Cup against Portugal on 24th November. The second game against South Korea will be played on 28th November and the last group game will be played on 2nd December.

Ghana is in Group H with South Korea, Uruguay, and Portugal. The 2022 World Cup will officially kick off on 20th November and end on December 18th.

Apart from Hearts of Oak's Dennis Korsah, two other domestic based players were included in the provisional squad namely attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
