2022 CHAN Qualifiers: Black Galaxies need fair officiating to beat Nigeria - Annor Walker

Black Galaxies head coach, Annor Walker says his side needs fair officiating in their clash against Nigeria on Sunday.

Ghana will host their West African neighbors in the last round of qualifiers for the 2022 Championship of African Nations [CHAN] at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the game, the veteran gaffer says he was unhappy with officiating despite the win against Benin and will demand fair officiating against the Super Eagles B.

“We didn’t get a fair officiating against Benin but we were able to progress. I believe Ghana will defeat Nigeria if fair officiating prevails this time around.

“The Nigerians should not think about revenge against Ghana because we eliminated them from the World Cup play-off.

“If they want to revenge, then it is not under my watch. We are ready and our minds are positive for this game.

“It will be a tough game but we are prepared and I am confident that we will qualify for the CHAN tournament next year," he added.

Ghana failed to qualify for the previous two editions. To book a ticket to Algeria next year, the Black Galaxies must overcome Nigeria in a two-legged tie.

The second leg will be played the following weekend at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
