Nigeria coach Salisu Yusuf wants to qualify for the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) in Algeria ahead of the Black Galaxies of Ghana.
The first leg of the tie will take place at Cape Coast stadium on Sunday, 28th August, while return fixture is scheduled for the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, 3rd September.
The winner qualifies for the 7th African Nations Championship finals to be staged in Algeria early next year.
"I won’t say we are seeking to get revenge against Ghana because of what happened with the last game on the road to the Qatar World Cup," the 60-year-old said ahead of the tie.
"We want to win and qualify for the final stage of the competition in Algeria next year. That is basically what we are pursuing."
"However, if we beat them to the ticket, which we definitely hope to achieve, then whatever description anyone gives it should be a matter of choice."
The winner qualifies for the 7th African Nations Championship finals to be staged in Algeria early next year.
