Ghana head coach, Otto Addo has admitted that he is aware if things go badly for the Black Stars at the 2022 FIFA World Cup his team will end up with three defeats.

The Borussia Dortmund assistant coach has become a hero for Ghana after guiding the national team to overcome the Super Eagles of Nigeria to book a place at this year’s mundial.

Speaking to Transfer Market, Coach Otto Addo says he is aware Ghana will not have it easy at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

“Our group is certainly not easy, that's for sure. But I think the teams are balanced, apart from maybe Portugal, who will of course be extremely difficult to play against. In retrospect, no World Cup went as experts had predicted beforehand – so I approach the tasks relatively impartially and I can tell you quite honestly: anything is possible,” Coach Otto Addo shared.

The gaffer added, “We have a strong squad and I'm convinced that the team can throw up a few surprises – but if things go badly in a group it's easy to end up with three defeats.”

Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup will face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea in Group H.
