Ghana duo, Alexander Djiku, and Majeed Warris are travelling together from France to Accra ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying clash against Nigeria.

As already reported by your most trusted online portal last week, Racing Strasbourg top defender Alexander Djiku is in the Black Stars squad for the crucial encounter against the Super Eagles in the international break.

Today, a picture posted by the centre-back on his Instagram story has created the impression that teammate and striker Majeed Warris has also been called up to feature for the Black Stars.

In the post, the two Racing Strasbourg are seen onboard an airplane en route to Ghana.

Footballghana is in touch with sources at the Ghana FA to confirm the inclusion of Majeed Warris in the coach Otto Addo squad to take on the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The first leg of the playoff of the African qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup between Ghana and Nigeria is scheduled to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, March 25, 2022.
