A Nigerian US-based football coach, Anthony Ushurhe says if the Super Eagles show commitment they will beat Ghana and seal progression to the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana will take on Nigeria at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 25 in the first leg before travelling to Abuja for the return leg on March 29.

The winner of the tie will represent the continent at the World football showpiece which is scheduled to take place from November 21 to December 18, 2022, in Qatar.

"I have nothing much to say about the World Cup qualifying match between Ghana and Nigeria but the only thing I can point out is that Nigeria can beat Ghana in Accra and Abuja if the players show enough commitment on the field of play," Ushurhe said.

"Secondly, I watched their matches at the last AFCON in Cameroon and I was impressed with the teamwork of the players. I think if they can continue in this direction, Nigeria stands the chance to qualify for the world cup stage.

He added, "I don’t like to object team list of any national team coach. The coach knows the best and he knows the best for the country."

"All I know is that we can be in Qatar if our players show enough commitment and play like a team against Ghana."
