Ghana head coach Otto Addo is highly optimistic his side can beat any team in the world at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar which commences next month.

Black Stars make a return to the tournament after missing out on the 2018 edition in Russia and have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

Ghana will take on Portugal in their first game in Group H on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay on November 28 and December 2 respectively.

"I know that we can beat any team in the World Cup, this one is for sure," the 47-year-told 3sports as monitored by footballghana.com.

"Everybody knows that at the World Cup, it will not come as the whole world expect it to be. Also, I think the first game of us but also our opponent will be very very decisive on how to go on the second one because surely you will go differently to a match if you need points.

He added, "Let's say your opponent has lost then maybe if you've already had three points or one point is a big big difference so the first match is very very decisive and from there we can know more actually on how we go on the second match."

Black Stars will play Switzerland in an International friendly on November 17, before travelling to Qatar for the World Cup.
