The Black Stars of Ghana are set to travel to Nigeria this morning ahead of the crunch meeting with the Super Eagles on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

Ghana after missing the last edition of the global tournament is now pushing to secure a spot at this year’s mundial.

Unfortunately, the West African national team is drawn against rivals Nigeria in the playoff round of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Last Friday, the first leg of the game was played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

On the back of a tough meeting between the two national teams, neither side could score as the game ended in a goalless stalemate.

Today, the Black Stars will travel to Nigeria this morning to finalise preparations for the reverse fixture.

Once the team arrives in the afternoon, there will be a light training session at the Moshood Abiola National Sports Stadium later in the evening.

Tomorrow’s decisive clash between Nigeria and Ghana has been scheduled to kick off at 17:00GMT.

The winner of the game will earn the right to play at this year’s world cup to be staged in Qatar.
