Rubin Kazan striker, Joel Femeyeh has been named in the provisional Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Late last month, FIFA directed all qualified countries to furnish it with a 55-man provisional squad for the upcoming tournament.

Although the Ghana FA decided to hold onto the list after it was submitted to FIFA, it has today unveiled all the players selected by Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.

The squad has five goalkeepers, 17 defenders, 14 midfielders, 13 wingers, and six strikers.

Among the players invited is striker Joel Famayeh. The forward is making a return to the national team after a long absence.

This season, the Rubin Kazan forward has played in 13 games for his club in the Russian FNL.

He has five goals to his name and has been one of the best players for his team.

It is now up to Ghana head coach Otto Addo to select Joel Famayeh in the final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
