2022 World Cup: Black Stars to open camp in Abu Dhabi on November 14

The Black Stars of Ghana will officially open camp in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday, November 14.

Your most trusted online football portal in Ghana can report that the local contingent of backroom staff and Premier League players that will be included in the final 26-man squad will depart the country to Abu Dhabi on Sunday, October 13.

Subsequently, the Black Stars will open camp in Abu Dhabi on Monday, October 14, to begin preparations for the tournament scheduled to be staged in Qatar.

Foreign-based players will start reporting to camp immediately after playing for their respective clubs over the weekend.

At the tournament, Ghana is in Group H which has been described as the group of death at this year’s mundial.

The Black Stars will face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea in Group H.

With the tournament scheduled to kick off on November 20, Ghana’s Black Stars will play their first match against Portugal on November 24.

The Black Stars despite being underdogs in the group are confident of going past the group stage to make Ghana and the entire continent proud.
