2022 World Cup: Brazilian striker Pedro Abreu proposes to his girlfriend making final squad

After being called up by Brazilian head coach Tite for the 2022 World Cup, Brazilian Flamengo striker Pedro Abreu proposed to his fiancée.

A video of the moment was posted on one of the Copa Libertadores champions' social media accounts. Fernanda Nogueira, Pedro's sweetheart, said yes!!.

The 2022 World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022. This will be the first World Cup ever to be held in the Arab world, and the second World Cup held entirely in Asia after the 2002 tournament in South Korea and Japan. In addition, the tournament is scheduled to be the last with a 32-team field; the field is slated to increase to 48 teams for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Neymar (PSG), Vinicius Junior, Rodrigo (both Real Madrid), Anthony (Manchester United), Richarlison (Tottenham), and Rafinha (Barcelona) were all called up to the Brazilian national team in the offensive group (both Arsenal).

The Brazilians will compete in the 2022 World Cup group stage against Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon.
