South Korea Football Association has confirmed their outfit will wear the preferred red jersey in all group games at the 2022 World Cup.

It will be the first time in 36-years since the 1986 World Cup in Mexico that Korea will be wearing their home jersey for all group games at the World Cup.

According to the FA, FIFA has recently decided and notified the color of the uniforms each team will wear in the group stage of the Qatar World Cup to be held next month.

Starting with the first group match against Uruguay on November 24, Korea will wear the main red uniform from the top, bottom, and stockings in the three matches until the second match against Ghana on the 28th, and the third match against Portugal on December 3.

Goalkeepers wear yellow tops and bottoms in the first and second rounds of the group stage and light blue in the third round

From the 1990 World Cup in Italy, they played more than one match in white or blue auxiliary jerseys depending on the color of the opposing team's jersey.

So far, Korea has recorded 4 wins, 4 draws, and 10 losses in 18 matches in a red uniform in 34 World Cup finals.

In white, they have 12 wins, 2 wins, 5 draws, and 5 losses, and blue is 4 matches and 4 losses.

In the match against Korea, Uruguay wears the main uniform, a sky blue top and black bottoms.

The biggest soccer mundial has been scheduled for November and December this year, with 32 countries set to battle it out for the covetous trophy in the Asian country.

The Asian powerhouse are housed in Group H and will face Portugal, Uruguay and Ghana.

They opened their account against Uruguay before taking on Portugal and Ghana respectively.
