2022 World Cup: Ghana to arrive in Qatar on November 19

The Black Stars of Ghana will arrive in Qatar on November 19 for the 2022 World Cup.

The four time African champions having missed out in the last edition hosted in Russia have secured a place in teh 22nd edition of the Mundial.

Ghana qualified for the world's biggest tournament at the expense of Nigeria.

The playing body and the technical team will officially open camp on November 10.

As part of the team's preparations, the West African country will take on Switzerland in their final preparatory game in Abu Dhabi on November 17.

Ghana in the September international window engaged Brazil and Nicaragua.

After the game, the Black Stars arrive in Doha on November 19.

Ghana have been housed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

The Black Stars will open their campaign against Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.

Four days later, the Black Stars return to action with a clash with South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.

Ghana will wrap up their group stage adventure with their much-anticipated encounter with Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.

The Black Stars having missed out in the last edition hosted in Russia in 2018 will be hoping to improve their performance in Qatar after exiting at the group phase during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
