2022 World Cup: Ghana's Group H opponent South Korea beat Iceland 1-0 in final friendly game

Song Min-gyu's goal in the first half gave South Korea a 1-0 victory over Iceland in South Korea's last friendly game at the Hwaseong Sports Complex Main Stadium on Friday and brought an end to all programs before the 2022 World Cup which will be held in Doha, Qatar.

A 3-4-3 formation was used by South Korea at first. Song Min-kyu and Kwon Chang-hoon were to the left and right of Jo Gyu-seong, who was in the front. Baek Seung-ho and Jung Woo-young collaborated in midfield, and Hong-cheol and Yoon Jong-gyu were assigned to play left and right wingback, respectively. Park Ji-soo, Kwon Kyung-won, and Kim Young-kwon made up the back three line. Kim Seung-gyu was the goalkeeper.

South Korea took the lead in the 32nd minute of the first half. Min-gyu Song scored a header after receiving a cross from Jo Kyu-seong.

South Korea will take on the Black Stars of Ghana on the 28th of November.
