2022 World Cup: Ghana’s group opponent Portugal announces final squad for mundial

The Portuguese national team has paraded a strong 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In what could be a final dance at the mundial for football great Cristiano Ronaldo, he is yet again the poster boy for the European country.

He will be captaining the 2016 European champions as they aim to conquer the world.

The Portugal squad is made up of experienced and trusted goalkeepers Rui Patricio, Jose Sa, and talented young shot-stopper Diego Costa.

The team is going to the Qatar world cup with a deadly midfield that included Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is joined in the attack of the squad by Andre Silva, Joao Felix, and red-hot Rafael Leao.

Besides Ghana, Portugal will face off with Uruguay and South Korea in the group stages of the World Cup scheduled to start on Sunday, November 20.
