2022 World Cup: Hearts of Oak talisman Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to be named in Black Stars provisional squad

Young forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh is one of a few local players who have been considered for a place in the Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

As reported by your most trusted online football portal in Ghana, Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has today, Friday, October 21, furnished FIFA with his provisional squad for the upcoming tournament.

The provisional squad according to information gathered from sources includes Hearts of Oak poster boy Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.

The former Ghana U20 captain has been a star in the local league since the start of last season.

With his exploits with the U20 team also adding value to him, he is now in the running for a place in the final Black Stars squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

He is the only player from the Ghana Premier League with a big chance to make the final squad of Coach Otto Addo.

The squad will be announced next month on the website of the Ghana FA before November 15 when it will be released by FIFA.
