Alhaji Raji, a former Ghana League Club Association [GHALCA] chairman has called on Ghanaians to lower their expectations ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The veteran Ghanaian trainer speaking in an interview reiterated that he has no faith and belief in the playing squad and Otto Addo, who is the head coach for the side.

According to him, the team is not gelling and will need time to succeed.

"If you look at the team, you can see that the players are not gelling; they need time to do a lot of work,” he told Graphic Sports.

“We have to patent and minimize our expectations," he cautioned.

The Black Stars have come under pressure following their September friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua which ended a 3-0 defeat and a 1-0 win respectively.

Ghana, meanwhile have been housed in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay.

The tournament kick start of November 20 to December 18.
