2022 World Cup: Otto Addo and Black Stars technical team will deliver - Laryea Kingston

Former Ghana winger, Laryea Kingston, has expressed full belief in Black Stars' technical team ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Otto Addo, who is the head coach of the side has come under pressure following the team's unimpressive performance in the September friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua.

Several Ghanaian football fans have called for the sack of Addo with less than a month to the start of the Mundial.

However, for Kingston, the technical handlers of the team have done a great job by putting together an experienced and youthful side ahead of the World Cup.

He expects the youthful players in the team to complement the experienced ones to give the country a historic performance at the Mundial.

“The team is full of quality players who have the potential to make a good account of themselves at the biggest stage of world football,” said Kingston during an interview with Graphic Sports.

“I have confidence in the technical team to deliver on their mandate and all I ask is for them to be clinical in their attack," he added.

Otto Addo is assisted by George Boateng, Didi Dramani, and Chris Hughton as the technical advisor.

The Black Stars will open camp on November 10 in Abu Dhabi before taking on Switzerland in their final preparatory game on November 17.
