A cross-session of Nigerians have taken to social media to express their satisfaction about the performance of Super Eagles duo of Francis Uzoho and Ola Aina in their pulsating goalless draw against Ghana in Kumasi.

The Super Eagles held the Black Stars to a 0-0 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi last Friday in the World Cup play-off first leg.

Despite uninspiring performance from the Super Eagles team, Nigerians took to social media heaping praises on goalkeeper Francis Uzoho and defender Ola Aina for their outstanding display against the Black Stars.

Uzoho, who took the number one spot after Maduka Okoye withdrew from the squad because of an illness, put up a brilliant display, pulling off interventions on two particular occasions.

His masterclass has seen Nigerians take to social media to reignite the conversations of who they believe should be the Super Eagles’ number one.

Ola Aina, who plies his trade for Torino appeared unfazed by the atmosphere, repeatedly feeding the midfield with balls and setting the tone for Nigerian attacks that, for the most part, failed to get past the same midfield.

Aina also played with composure in defence while holding off Ghanaian attacks from his position - a performance that has seen some claim that "he would easily make it into [Manchester] United's squad."
